Cerami was chosen to provide audiovisual and acoustical consulting services for the Montreign Resort Casino located in New York’s Catskills region. This 18-story casino, hotel, and entertainment complex features a casino with 61 table games and 2,150 state-of-the-art slot machines, 391 luxury hotel rooms, and multiple dining and entertainment options. And they weren’t gambling on the technology or the acoustic vibe.
Our team confirmed acoustical design criteria for the M Centre, meeting rooms, pool area, offices, room to room noise transfer, pool to room noise transfer, and the Salon Prives. For all spaces, Cerami ensured all background noise levels were kept to a minimum, partitions maintain acoustical separation between spaces, the floor slabs and finishes control impact noise transmission between vertically adjoining spaces, and that speech privacy potential is maintained. When you also call your casino an “indoor water park”, acoustic isolation is key for everyone’s enjoyment.
Our technology team was responsible for all AV technology throughout the hotel and all of its amenities, gaming, and other spaces. We developed a tailored guest experience including reservation systems, wayfinding and digital signage, and in-room technology solutions.
Signature Solution: With four separate entertainment spaces spread out in the resort, including the Empire Lounge, Sportsbook 360, Doubletop Bar and Grill and the Epicenter, where headliners perform, Cerami designed the acoustic treatment inside these performance spaces with just enough spillover to attract guests. Once inside these mostly open venues, the sound demonstrates their talent in the best possible way.
