We take pride in working with developers to bring their signature voice to life at the best hotels and restaurants.
In hotels, acoustics and technology design hold significant impact for both business and personal guests. In providing services for more than 50 hotel operators, Cerami has worked with almost every world-renowned architect on national and international projects. We specialize in offering solutions which reflect the architect’s vision, are appropriate to the class of hotel, and support the operator’s standards.
Seamless Audiovisual Integration
Audiovisual applications in hotels can range greatly from digital wayfinding to background music systems in public areas to conference and meeting rooms. Aside from assurances for audio and visual quality and clarity, the primary goal in designing audiovisual systems for hotels is to incorporate the necessary equipment and outlets for connectivity while ensuring the design aesthetic remains intact. Conference centers, ballrooms, and break-out rooms are among the most demanding spaces in terms of audiovisual design. Key considerations in these spaces include equipment specification and the design and location of the equipment room. Equipment for these facilities must be easily portable and user friendly, while offering a range of applications.
Acoustical Design
At the personal level acoustics plays a major role in enhancing a hotel’s “creature comforts”. Within guestrooms, a major goal is to isolate patrons from noises both within the hotel and outside as a means of replicating the sense of serenity they feel in their own home. As such, appropriate guestroom acoustics require measures to increase privacy, decrease transmission of sound between rooms, eliminate external noises such as ground, rail, and air traffic, and reduce the noise and vibration from elevator and mechanical equipment.
Creating the appropriate ambiance plays an equally important role in a hotel’s public spaces – ballrooms and meeting rooms; restaurants, bars and casinos; fitness centers; and other public reception areas.
